Cairn58 is built by hikers, for hikers. These guidelines help keep the community helpful and respectful.
Photo Guidelines
Share photos of the peak, route, trailhead, or surrounding scenery
Add helpful captions describing conditions, time of year, or notable features
Use the "Private" option for personal photos you'd rather not share publicly
Do not upload photos unrelated to the peak or hiking
Do not upload offensive, graphic, or copyrighted content
Review Guidelines
Reviews help other hikers plan their trips. Share your honest experience including difficulty, conditions, and what to expect.
Be constructive and respectful. Focus on the hike, not other people.
Reporting Content
If you see content that violates these guidelines, use the flag button to report it. You can report for:
- Inappropriate content -- offensive or unrelated material
- Spam -- promotional or repetitive content
- Inaccurate -- wrong peak, misleading information
- Other -- anything else that needs review
Content that receives multiple reports is automatically hidden pending review by our team.
Enforcement
We review reported content promptly. Depending on severity:
- Content may be removed
- Repeat offenders may have upload privileges restricted
- Accounts creating harmful content may be suspended
