Paved lot at Denny Creek TH. 12 miles from Buena Vista via CR 306. Collegiate Peaks Wilderness.

Route Description

The route follows Denny Creek before climbing the southwest slopes to Yale's summit. The trail is well-maintained through the forest and marked with cairns above treeline. Class 2 terrain near the summit requires some scrambling.

Gear & Preparation

The upper slopes are exposed - turn back if thunderstorms threaten. Popular route with good trail conditions throughout.
