Route Description

The standard route climbs steep forested slopes before reaching alpine terrain. The upper mountain is loose talus requiring careful footing. Views of the Arkansas Valley are excellent throughout. Mt. Princeton Hot Springs at the base offers post-hike relaxation.

Gear & Preparation

The loose rock on upper slopes is tiring - bring trekking poles. The hot springs nearby make this a popular choice for post-hike recovery.
